At Pacific Rowing Club, our rowers are more than just athletes; they are dedicated members of a community that values teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. To support their unyielding pursuit of excellence, we’re thrilled to announce our annual fundraising event – the 2025 Pacific Row-A-Thon!

The Row-A-Thon is not just a fundraiser; it's a celebration of our athletes' dedication and a chance for our entire community to unite in support. As always, all funds raised will go directly toward providing our athletes with high-quality equipment. Rowing demands precision, technique, and top-tier gear, and your generous contributions enable us to keep our athletes competitive and prepared with essential resources.

On January 25th, rowers will participate in teams – black, red, and white – for an exhilarating 12-hour on-water rowing competition. Each team will strive to cover the greatest distance possible in their boat within the allotted time. Rowers will take shifts, completing 90-minute rows to ensure that everyone can contribute to their team’s success. This event serves as a physical challenge while fostering team spirit and camaraderie. Distances will be tracked, and we’ll host a post-event celebration to recognize the dedication and achievements of all participants. Plus, we’ll have prizes for the winning team!

New this year, our Masters rowers will join the Row-A-Thon, rowing alongside our junior athletes to achieve as many laps as possible in each 90-minute shift. This addition brings the entire Pacific Rowing Club community together for the shared goal of raising funds for equipment, creating a powerful connection across all age groups and skill levels.

Here’s how you can help us reach this goal:

  4. By mail, using the enclosed envelope addressed to: Pacific Rowing Club, PO Box 320643, San Francisco, CA 94132. (Please include your rower's name in the “memo” section of your check.)

  5. Stock donation (contact treasurer@pacificrowing club.org for details).

  6. Matching grants: Parents and alums, ask employers about matching grants (contact treasurer@pacificrowingclub.org).

  7. Donations can be made on the day of the event by check, credit card, Apple Pay etc (at Row-A- Thon location).
